Green Flags fly high across Bridgend County Borough

Eight green spaces across Bridgend County Borough have been awarded a prestigious Keep Wales Tidy Green Flag Award in recognition of their excellent visitor facilities, high environmental standards, and commitment to delivering high quality green spaces.

Ogmore Vale Primary School project paves the way for the future!

An intergenerational sewing project to upcycle old clothes, was designed and carried out by Year 5 and 6 pupils from Ogmore Vale Primary School, following a series of lessons about how the future will be impacted by present day actions.

Local active travel plans are boosted by Welsh Government funding

Bridgend County Borough Council is set to receive £1.5m to facilitate new and improved active travel routes across the county borough. Enhancements will include building new active travel routes, consultation work for future scheme developments, as well as promotion work.
