Community Risk Register

As part of our duty to assess the risks which may be faced by communities in our local area we work alongside a wide range of other responder agencies to cooperate and share information.

Working together, we compile a Community Risk Register for the region.

South Wales Community Risk Register

The community risk register is designed to reassure local residents of the plans in place to respond to potential hazards and provide an overview of the context of those risks and how they’re managed.

It also helps us as responders to get a clear understanding of the risks faced in their area.  This helps us to schedule our work programme effectively and ensure we make the best use of the resources available to us in addressing the risks identified.  It also helps us to take stock of the work that we’re doing, identify any gaps we may need to address and ensures that our plans are fit for purpose.
