B.E.S.T - Bridgend Employment Support Training

The B.E.S.T project is a flexible programme designed to simplify recruitment and support businesses to strengthen their workforce.

B.E.S.T will offer employers a range of benefits to help recruit and retain the right talent. Employers will benefit from:

• Up to two-week work trials - The opportunity to trial potential employees in a real working environment with no commitment or cost, just the opportunity to find the right fit.
• Pre-employment and In-Work training - Access to tailored training packages for all job starts, subject to approval, helping new recruits be work-ready and stay job-ready. 
• Free recruitment support - Help to create job descriptions, CV screening, candidate matching and interview support
• Six months of tailored In-Work mentoring - Ongoing, personalised support for your new employees to help with onboarding, retention, and development, helping them to grow with your business. 

It is the aspiration that employers can interview a range of applicants and choose the one that best suits their company using their usual processes.

However, all applicants will be referred via Employability Bridgend.

This is so the applicants can be supported before the interview and if required during and after the job placement so that the opportunity provides them with the best experience during their time with the host employer.
