New bus information display trial underway

A new digital bus information display sign is being trialled at Bridgend Bus Station.

Currently installed on Bay 5, the display features the expected departure time, destination, places of interest, operator and service number.

Due to the outdated software and hardware in the previous information displays which were first installed when we opened the bus station in November 2004, we removed them last year, and are now trialling a new digital display on Bay 5 which features our busiest routes.

We hope to be able to purchase more displays in the future if we are successful in obtaining a Local Transport Fund grant.

In the meantime, we would welcome feedback on the new display from passengers via our bus station regulators, who are situated in the Information Office at Bridgend Bus Station.
