Bridgend Employer Support Training program launches

Bridgend County Borough has officially launched the Bridgend Employer Support Training (BEST) program, a groundbreaking initiative designed to bolster businesses and enhance workforce capabilities across the region. This innovative scheme, part of the Employability Bridgend project, aims to streamline the recruitment process and facilitate job placement for residents looking to enter the workforce.
The BEST program offers a comprehensive suite of services to assist businesses in their recruitment efforts, including a two-week work trial, where businesses can evaluate potential employees in a real-world setting. The program will also offer pre-employment and in work training, access to tailored training packages from the BEST team, six months of tailored in-work mentoring for businesses and their employers, along with ongoing personalised support.
Participation in the BEST program is completely free and requires no commitment from businesses. The dedicated BEST team will guide both employers and employees through every step of the process.
