Bag yourself a new role at upcoming jobs fair

Plenty of job opportunities will be on offer at the upcoming jobs fair taking place on Tuesday 6 February 2024, 10am until 1pm at the Hi-Tide, Mackworth Road, Porthcawl CF36 5BT.

Open to all job seekers, students and young people, regardless of age or experience, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from a wide range of public, retail and hospitality industry employers, including Porthcawl-based Trecco Bay – Parkdean Resorts, Coney Beach, Booth Group and The Hi-Tide. Along with RAF, Lidl and First Cymru. The event will promote a range of careers in the public, private and hospitality sectors.

Support and guidance will be available throughout the morning from our friendly staff in the Employability Bridgend team, who in partnership with Job Centre Plus, will be on hand to discuss your pathways to employment and to provide support to fill in any training gaps.

Enquiries from drivers and non-drivers are welcome. Not all vacancies require the use of a vehicle, however there is support available for those who are interested in undertaking driving lessons for the roles that do.

In the current, uncertain economic climate, it’s a positive step to be able to support people to find employment and highlight the wide range of opportunities available to them.

These drop-in events are an ideal opportunity to speak directly to employers and gain an insight into a particular role or organisation.

We are pleased to be working with our partners at Job Centre Plus to help people move towards work, training, progress in a chosen career or consider a change of job.
