The Cabinet of Bridgend County Borough Council has approved the 2022-23 Annual Corporate Safeguarding Report, which includes statistics of the number of adult and children safeguarding referrals this year with comparisons to previous years, how the council has worked collaboratively with the regional safeguarding board, as well as the new models of practice that have been implemented.

Welsh Government funding is supporting the phased roll out of Flying Start childcare provision across the county borough, with additional postcode areas in Cefn Cribwr, Cornelly and Kenfig Hill benefitting from the initiative in January 2024.
