Social Care and Social Work Jobs

This is an exciting time to join our social care team as we continue to remodel the way we meet the needs of children and adults in Bridgend County Borough who need our support, in line with the Welsh Government Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014 - a law that will give clients more of a say in the care and support they receive.

Bridgend County Borough Council is a great place to work. You can expect great opportunities and a supportive working environment. We will support you in creating an exciting and diverse career in social care in a developing and progressive organisation.

Depending on the role, you don't always need qualifications, we will provide the correct training and qualifications. What is important is having the right values, behaviours and attitudes to work effectively with people who need care and support.

Social Care

Our care workers help vulnerable people to live as independently as possible, within their own home or residential settings.

Social Work

Our social workers help protect vulnerable children and adults from harm or abuse, and support them to live independently.
