Criteria

• Business falls within the A1 use class and provides goods or services that enhances the existing offer within the Town Centre
• Evidence that the business can act as an attractor throughout the year for visitors from outside Porthcawl and support its role as a tourist destination

Requirements of the Tenant

• The operating business will be required to open at least 6 days per week
• The tenant will be required to pay utility costs (Water and Electricity)
• The tenant will be required to pay business rates if applicable associated with the property
• The tenant will pay a peak time rent (1 March to 31 October) of £175 per week and an off-peak rent (1 November to 28 February) of £96 per week (£7757pa)
• The tenant will be required to obtain adequate and appropriate insurances
